Please continue to pray for those who are fighting to defend our freedoms and remember that we must do all we can to help them by defending them and their families against the attacks of Satan. These families need your prayers. We will be ministering to them and loving them during this time of deployment and readjustment. We need your prayers for wisdom and strength from our Lord.

Our church's primary outreach is to American military personnel stationed at Naval Air Station Sigonella here on the island of Sicily. Our desire is to see them saved and grounded in the faith before moving on. There is little time to get the job done and you learn to depend on God to move hearts and change lives in these special folks. Think "dynamic and discipleship" and you have an overseas military ministry.

The central focus of our ministry is to establish a church for the glory of God. Houston Baptist church in Houston Scotland is our present focus. We are located just west of Glasgow about ten miles and would welcome any visitors if you are ever in our area.
Our goal is to reach the people that Christ died for with the gospel with the intent they may know they have eternal life. We also focus on those who have come to have the assurance of eternal life in heaven with our ministry of discipleship. The Lord reveals that knowledge of the Lord leads to his people trusting Him. That is our goal that each one who comes our way will learn to trust the Lord with their very lives.
In June 1990 Barb and I were accepted as missionaries to serve with Baptist International Missions, Inc. After completing deputation, we served as church planters in Alaska for ten years. I became BIMI’s Far North Director on January 1, 2004, and served in that role for approximately seven years. On June 8, 2010, I became the President and General Director of BIMI. Along with a great deal of administrative responsibilities, my ministry entails traveling to missions conferences and mission fields around the world.
